Working from home can be a major challenge for most people. This is exacerbated by the fact that you are probably stuck at home with your wife and kids. Kids are great, but they make it hard to get work done.

“To make matters even worse, you can’t even leave to go get a coffee because all the businesses are closed,” said Issa Asad Florida entrepreneur and social media expert. Mr. Asad is the CEO of Q Link Wireless, Hello Mobile, and Quadrant Holdings, all located in South Florida. He is also the author of 4 e-commerce and marketing e-books that can be purchased on Amazon.

So if your company decided to send you home amid the COVID19 crisis, how can you stay productive? Here, Issa Asad Gives 4 Hacks to Being Productive During the COVID-19 Pandemic:

Tip 1: Get Some Exercise

Do whatever you have to do to get some good exercise. This is currently a huge challenge. However, you do not have to feel trapped. The worst thing we can do in this scenario is to lose hope. So many people have lost hope amid seeing the growing number of cases and deaths in their country. But exercise can release endorphins in the brain which can help feelings of stress and sadness.

On top of feeling happier, exercise can help you keep a positive outlook on life because you can get some sort of escape from your daily routine. If you are allowed to leave your house, I would definitely encourage you to find a trail or park somewhere that isn’t closed. If you do have a very strict shelter in place order, open your windows and let in some fresh are while you do yoga and other cardio exercises. Cardio is probably the most important and most neglected aspect of working out for most people. You may not be able to leave your home, but you can certainly keep a positive outlook during this challenging time.

Tip 2: Meditate or Pray

Meditation and relaxation are really important during times of struggle. It’s unfortunate that our enemy is an invisible virus that we can’t physically fight, but we can still conquer the negativity of the virus in our minds. Seek peace of mind by clearing your head and breathing slowly. Everything is going to be ok. There is no reason to spend your life worrying. What can you add to your life by worrying? So use prayer as a way to let your requests be made known and use meditation to escape from the demanding worries of this world.

Tip 3: Break Up Your Working Hours

When you have any sort of job that operates at home, it can be super challenging to not get stuck in a rut. This becomes even more apparent during a shelter in place order! However, you don’t have to be stuck in the same position while you work. You can stand to work, you can also exercise and do small tasks around the house in between your hours. Just think about it, you’re not 100% productive even when you’re at an office desk. You shouldn’t expect yourself to be 100% productive while working from your couch either.

Remember, don’t lose hope during this time! We will get through this together.
